"BTS Invited to Meet President Biden at the White House: Discussing Anti-Asian Violence and Possible Collaborations"

The GROUP has found international success with songs "Butter" and "Dynamite".

BTS has gone to THE UN, THE BLUE HOUSE, received THE CALTURAL MERIT AWARD, they were granted with THE DIPLOMATIC PASSPORT, GRAMMYS, BBMAS, AMAS

and now going to THE WHITE HOUSE.

The White House has invited the Global famous band BTS to meet with President Biden to discuss the rise in anti-Asian violence and discrimination in the USA.

The White House statement, “President Biden and BTS will also discuss the importance of diversity and inclusion and BTS’ platform as youth ambassadors who spread a message of hope and positivity across the world."

the official statement added that, “President Biden has previously spoken about his commitment to combating the surge of anti-Asian hate crimes and signed into law the COVID-19 Hate Crimes Act in May 2021 to provide law enforcement with resources to identify, investigate, and report hate crimes and ensure that hate crimes information is more accessible to AA and NHPI communities.” for more detail the meeting are awaited.

BTS doesn't belong to the diaspora, but BTS is not immune to hate, xenophobia, and racism when they visit the USA, and the treatments are mild compared to those of Asian Americans. Just because they are protected and closely guarded, doesn't dismiss the fact of how some people view them. Even Jhope's sister Ji Woo who had the means to curate her surroundings faced blatant racism in the USA.

BTS will leave Korea on 29th for Washington DC. Jungkook will leave a day earlier to Los Angeles and meet the rest of the members in Washington DC.

“There were times during the past two years when I too felt bewildered and troubled but still we hear people cry out, 'let's live on, let's make the best of this moment,'" said by Jin. 
The member always encouraged fans to stay positive and shared that they had been vaccinated against Covid-19.

“When we talk about Asian hate, our paths are these awards, our music — we just hope that this can truly help every Asian in the world. We will try to stop the discrimination and racism.” said by namjoon in PTD conference.
